Could lack of Sleep be affecting your Heart?

September 26, 2017 Dr. V. Spencer

Well, it’s the beginning of the week again. The weekend was fantastic- just what you needed. You stayed up late with friends, watched your favorite team or just relaxed all day. Then your Monday is action packed with activities. Mentally, you are running on all cylinders as you shift back to work and you didn’t go to bed on time. Missing or broken sleep could affect your Heart.

On this month of love, let’s explore ways to take better care of your heart health. The last blog explains how holding onto LOVE could be the thing that is weakening your health. What other symptoms could be a sign of Heart Imbalance? Answer- Lack of sleep! Your inability to have restful sleep can, over time, create or be caused by an imbalance in your Heart channel.

So by the next day at work, you have a struggle to keep up with the mental activity of your job. Your brain feels foggy. Your eyes are heavy. You can improve your overall mental/emotional state by joining us in launching a new program.

Take a Nap Tuesday!

Join us starting next week. Here is an example of how it is done.

Find a quiet place and start with 5 to 10 minutes to rest your eyes. Set an alarm on your cell phone. Get in a comfortable position. Recline in your parked car at lunch. Lay down if possible. Breathe deeply in and out. Focus on your breath and take a nap!

Join in the stillness!

Your heart never stops beating, but by slowing it down by clearing your mind and resting your body, you can enhance your Qi. Qi is the vital life force of the body and it flows with the blood circulation. This will reduce your heart rate and allow the blood pressure to drop as well.

If you need a little help or if you want to learn how to clear your mind - download this free 2 Minute Meditation. When you feel emotional- shut it all down for a minute and take a nap this coming Tuesday!

Wake up refreshed, with more love in your heart and a radiant smile on your face!
